Snow Fairy Wins 2010 Hong Kong Cup

December 13th, 2010

Brilliant British filly Snow Fairy scored an impressive victory in the Group 1 Hong Kong Cup (2000m) at Sha Tin Racecourse on Sunday, December 12.

The Edward Dunlop-trained Snow Fairy looked in trouble at the home turn sitting at the back of the pack in 12th spot, but her incredible ability and acceleration saw the three-year-old burst forward through the field and hit the front.

On the line it was Snow Fairy a mere nose ahead of John Moore’s Irian, a gallant Packing Winner coming in third after leading throughout, narrowly nudging out defending champion and favourite with the punters Vision D’Etat from a top three finish.
